Bob serves as CEO of RAR Hospitality. He is an internationally recognized hotelier with over 40 years of hospitality-related management experience. Recognized by his "hotel guru," moniker, Bob shares insights and industry trends at www.hotelguru.com. He has held nearly every position in the hotel business including General Manager of full-service four Diamond hotels for Hilton and Embassy Suites. His education includes a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration from Western International University and a master’s degree in Tourism Administration from Arizona State University. He is a Certified Hotel Administrator and has served as chairman of numerous tourism organizations nationally and locally (San Diego and Phoenix) and is editorial advisor and board member for CCR-Magazine and Destination Elite.
Bob has been directly involved in developing several hotels including the Del Mar Marriott, Hilton Hotel Gaslamp Plaza, Hilton Garden Inn Carlsbad, Hilton Hotel Santa Clara and several Marriott resort hotels. In addition to being the "Hotel Guru" he publishes Hospitality Innsights, an electronic newsletter and is a Faculty Associate at Arizona State University where he teaches Hospitality Entrepreneurship.
Marc Potash

Marc Potash quickly rose through the ranks to serve as RAR Hospitality’s COO and President. He has 15 years of operations management, strategy, and business development experience leading cross-functional teams within the hospitality, entertainment, and technology industries. Marc prides himself on his joy for taking on the tasks that others may consider tedious. His team-first approach and steadfast work ethic have been instrumental in the company's stellar growth.
Originally from Philadelphia, Marc’s career began in Los Angeles where his superb attention to detail and naturally hospitable personality led him to the entertainment industry. He worked directly with A-list talent in both personal and professional capacities adhering to stringent privacy agreements. Marc quickly gained the trust of executives and professionals throughout the industry, a skill that translates directly to his work in the hospitality industry.
A family man by every definition of the term, Marc spends much of his time outside of work with his wife and children. His other passions include travel, volunteering in the community, serving on non-profit Boards of Directors, and personal health and fitness.
Marc has a BA from Syracuse University and an MBA from the Rady School of Management at UC San Diego where he frequently participates in various panels, evaluation committees, and is a past member of the Alumni Association Board.

Bob Moore is a 30-year veteran of Hilton Hotels and came to San Diego from the Valley Forge (PA) Hilton in 1999 as General Manager to open the first oceanfront Hilton Garden Inn (HGI) at Carlsbad Beach. He was instrumental in securing political, environmental, community and financial support for a second Hilton property, the Hilton Carlsbad Oceanfront Resort & Spa, which opened ahead of schedule and under budget. This hotel contributed 250 new jobs in North County San Diego and was the “only major hotel built west of the Mississippi in 2012.” He was Vice President and General Manager with responsibility for both properties until joining us in January of 2013.
Bob's commitment to excellence is exemplified by the numerous awards bestowed upon him and the properties under his management. These include General Manager of the Year, Hilton Hotel of the Year, a seat on the prestigious 6-member General Manager Operations Panel, the highest Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) in the HGI brand, twenty-three consecutive Outstanding Quality Assurance Reviews and six consecutive years of Highest Team Member Satisfaction. He served as Vice Chairman of San Diego North Convention and Visitors Bureau and Chairman of the Board of the City of Carlsbad Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Jessica has been with our company for nearly 10 years and her expertise has been an instrumental part of our successful growth. In this leadership capacity, Jessica brings strengths in recruitment, employee relations, recognition, development, training and workers’ compensation.
Her ability to design and deploy HR practices to align with our properties business goals and objectives is unparalleled. From keeping track of the array of changes in labor law to evaluating and reducing employee turnover, she excels in addressing the day-to-day challenges we encounter.
Prior to her role as RAR Hospitality, Jessica was Director of Human Resources at our owned and operated Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites "campus" in San Diego/Del Mar. Her particular passion for employment law ensures a positive, productive, fair and consistent employment environment.
Andrew Kalfayan

Andrew has been with RAR Hospitality for over 7 years. He began his career working as a guest service agent while attending California State University, San Marcos. Andrew graduated from CSUSM in 2009 with his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. After graduation, he joined the Homewood Suites and Hilton Garden Inn/ San Diego Del Mar "campus" owned and operated by RAR Hospitality and rapidly progressed from Front Office Manager to Operations Manager to Assistant General Manager. More recently, Andrew has served as Controller and Revenue Manager for the campus.
